Essay at CityLab

CityLabReally pleased to be a part of this great essay series, “Finding My Place” at The Atlantic’s CityLab, which explores how we make cities feel like home. My piece reflects on how I had to get used to driving again when I moved to Seattle after learning to love the public transportation of the Northeast cities.

Women’s Sports Is A Feminist Issue – The Atlantic

I’ve had the opportunity to work on a few other pieces since I’ve been traveling up to the tournament. One on fans at the World Cup for Vice Sports. Then I weighed in on U.S. Soccer’s policy about off the field behavior as it relates to Hope Solo for New York Times’ Room for Debate. And if you are tired of reading about women’s soccer you can simply listen to me talk about the Women’s World Cup and gender inequality over on PRI’s To The Point. (So much easier.)
